About me
As an agri-food evangelist and a dedicated Alberta farmer, Nichole Neubauer is passionate about teaching today's youth all about where their food comes from. Since 2005, Neubauer Farms has welcomed over 22,000 students through their farm gates to gain a first-hand appreciation of agriculture. In 2021, Neubauer Farms partnered with Prairie Rose Public Schools to design, construct and launch the Irvine School Agriculture Discovery Centre. This student-led farm is located right on the playground. Thanks to her dedication to agriculture education, Nichole has received the Medicine Hat & District Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award, Women in Business Inspire Award and the Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Medal. She also served as a founding Director for Results Driven Agriculture Research (RDAR), a Provincial agriculture research organization. Her family runs a 4th generation farm north of the Hamlet of Irvine, Alberta where they grow crops and raise beef cattle.
