Gary Sawatzky is the Chief Operating Officer at ARTA. Gary joined the Alberta Retired Teachers’ Association in 2017 as their Chief Operating Officer after working as a group benefits consultant for 20 years, specializing in education, and retiree benefits plans. Gary has his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation and is the Past President of the Alberta Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.
