About me
I am a farm girl from Milk River, Alberta and I completed my education degree at the University of Alberta. I married a farmer from the Foremost area and we have three daughters. After a few stints in the Horizon School division, I started teaching at the Foremost School in January of 2009. I love high school students and teaching English and Social Studies, but due to the dynamics of a small K-12 school, I have taught grades 2-12 throughout my career and also do Academic Advising. Last year I accepted the position of Vice Principal of the Foremost School and have loved learning about the Admin side of education. I have always been passionate about offering field trips to students - living in rural areas does not always give our students the opportunities they can get in larger areas - and it is gratifying to see students embracing new ideas and challenging themselves to overcome obstacles outside the traditional school setting.
