This is a discovery, intro, wellness and personal wellness experience opportunity all in one! Our group will meet in the Cypress Hills, Elkwater, rent equipment if needed, participate in basic instruction, complete a guided trail tour and learn about the options for taking your school/PE classes to experience this fantastic lifelong well activity for students and teachers!! Support from from the Parks staff is also involved, provide information and options available. Bring lunch/drinks for the day and dress for the weather. Participant cost AND pre-registration required.
- $25 for rentals (pay when you get there). Call 403-893- 3833 to book sizes.
- Participants will drive themselves
- 9:30 - Meet at Cypress Hills Prov Interpretive center, 8304 AB-41, Elkwater, AB to pick up ski rentals
- 10:15 - Session Begins at Spring Creek Trailhead, on the road to the Elkwater Golf course at 10:15 am
- 10:45 - XC ski tour into Spring Creek day cabin, lunch and ski out
- 2:00pm - return rentals and head for Med hat
