This presentation looks at our role as math instructors, especially reflecting on our mindset as we work with students to develop their math understanding. Mindset, teaching strategies, the importance of clarity, etc., are critical in helping our students understand. Participants must be able to share their own personal experiences and ideas in breakout groups and reflect on their own practice as they proceed through the session.
In this session, we hope to give time to share and explore everything Mathology related. Please bring a laptop or any other materials you think would be helpful to work on developing slideshows and other resources or having time to prep for future lessons. We hope you will join us and feel a little more accomplished and confident in teaching your next Mathology lesson!
Do you want to shake things up in your math class? Try something new? Get some exciting ideas you can use next week? Come hang out at this interactive session that will give you a taste of cool routines and structures to shake things up.
